This week i have been catching up with my blog. Also completing my poster i have been changing the colour of the "Boyz 4 now" logo on the poster and editing the poster, Adding effects and colours seeing what works best if i even decide to give the poster a effect

My group has been editing our digipacks and posters, we are putting the finishing touches on our digipacks and focusing more on our posters. This is the picture i will use for my poster.

Our group is editing our digi packs and posters, experimenting seeing what works best for the group. Here is my back cover i have been working on.

Our group has finished editing and our now working on our digi packs and our poster. We are going to make our digi packs fun bright and colourful so we can catch the eye of our target audience. I have chosen to put coloured bricks on the photo i am using for our front cover. I have put them corresponding to our elements so blue for me(Tom) green for Mikey and red for Charlie. This is so it will  represent our main song on the album "Its gonna be me"

On Tuesday 29/11/11 we had the whole day to film, we shot our dance routine at seven acre club and also Charlie's scene with Laura. We filmed all three of our dance routines in different shots from different positions to make sure we had enough shots of us, so we could chose. This was also to make sure that we can keep people interested in the video by continually cutting. We also managed to film Charlie's scene with Laura, This involved them being on a date and Charlie singing to Laura.

On Wednesday 30/11/11 we shot Mikey and Tom's scenes outside Mikey's house. This involved Mikey using his power to bring Laura flowers while he asks her out. Then when he takes her to his car Tom comes along and steals her from him. She then walks with him up the road while he sung his bit of the song. Looking now on our editing we have told that we should maybe use a cut for when Mikey makes up the flowers.

This week we have been designing our Digi pack on paper and on photoshop. First considering what we could have on our digi pack to personalise it to our song and our band. Due To one of our band members going solo we have had to re-draw our story board slightly and consider days for filming.

We are finishing off our story board, and now started to think about filming our video. We have chosen our locations and should be set to start filming within the next 2 to 3 weeks. We have also taken our photos for Reccee and our posting them on our blogs. Shaun posted our cast list on his blog so we know who is definitely going to be in our video. I have posted our production plan so everybody knows what we need to finalise before filming.

Week 1 - In our first week we have been introduced to Goodwins theory of music videos. This was taught so we could see and get ideas of what we can do in our music videos.

Week 2 - In our second week we formed groups and have decided on making a video for the song "Its Gonna Be Me" by "Nsync" this would be for our boyband we created called "Boyz 4 Now". Our group has looked at ways to make our selves different from other boy bands but still managing  to keep all the characteristics.  We looked at other boybands for example "Take That" "JLS" and also "Westlife" to name a few. After doing this we then came up for a concept for our video and began to plan, seeing as most boybands have certain styles within the boyband we decided (with some help from our teacher) that we should use this in our video, we then decided that we could each have a element. 

Week 3 - In our third week we have been storyboarding our music video and creating questionnaires. We have created our questionnaires so that we can get feedback preferably from out target audience on what they think is a good idea for our genre, for example one question is "What fashion wear do you think will appear to our target audience?" This is important so that we can target our target audience.
